Technical Developer – Payments & Settlements / Digital Banking

Dubai Islamic Bank Pakistan is seeking a skilled Technical Developer with strong expertise in banking technology to design, develop, and maintain robust, secure, and scalable banking solutions. You will work on core banking systems, integrations, and digital channels to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business growth and enhance customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy high-quality applications and solutions for banking platforms. Build and enhance core banking, digital banking, payments, and other financial applications. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following coding standards and best practices.
• Banking Technology Expertise: Work with core banking systems, APIs, and banking middleware. Implement solutions for payments, transfers, loans, deposits, trade finance, and other banking products. Ensure compliance with banking regulations, security standards, and data privacy policies.
• Integration & Support: Develop and maintain integrations with internal/external systems and third-party services. Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues in a timely manner. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements and deliver solutions.
• Quality & Continuous Improvement: Perform unit testing and support QA/UAT activities. Optimize application performance and ensure scalability and reliability. Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies in banking and financial services.

Eligibility Criteria:

1-Technical Qualifications:

• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in software development with a focus on banking/financial services.
• Programming: Strong programming skills in one or more languages: Java, C#, .NET, Python, or similar.
• Database: Hands-on with SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, and database design.
• Integrations: Experience with core banking systems, APIs, web services, and banking integrations.
• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of digital banking, payments, SWIFT, ISO 20022, or related standards is preferred. Understanding of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements in banking.

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
