AVP – Business Development

Talent Solutions Gateway (TSG) is seeking an experienced and results-driven AVP – Business Development on behalf of a prominent financial services organization in Lahore. This senior role is focused on driving business growth by acquiring new commercial clients, managing key relationships, and structuring financial solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in commercial banking, trade finance, and commercial lending.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Client Acquisition: Take the lead on developing new business opportunities by identifying and acquiring new-to-bank (NTB) commercial and corporate clients. Develop and execute strategies to expand the bank's loan and deposit portfolios .

Commercial Lending & Trade Finance: Originate, structure, and manage commercial loan requests, including trade finance products (e.g., letters of credit, supply chain financing) . Ensure thorough credit analysis and risk assessment for all lending proposals.

Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, lasting relationships with a portfolio of commercial clients. Provide advisory services to understand their business needs and offer tailored financial solutions .

Stakeholder & Portfolio Management: Collaborate with internal teams, including Credit, Risk, Legal, and Operations, to ensure smooth deal execution and compliance. Actively manage the assigned portfolio to maintain healthy asset quality .

Credit & Risk Oversight: Prepare and present credit proposals to loan committees, ensuring all documentation complies with regulatory and internal policies (e.g., SBP regulations, BSA/AML) . Mitigate risk and manage NPLs within acceptable thresholds.

Eligibility Criteria:

Education: Minimum Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field (MBA preferred) .

Experience: 7–8 years of relevant experience, specifically in Commercial Banking, Commercial Lending, or Trade Finance within the financial services sector .
