UBank is seeking a strong analytical and data-oriented AML/CFT professional to join its AML/CFT Unit as an Entry-Level officer. The successful candidate will be responsible for converting AML/CFT data into meaningful risk insights, identifying unusual patterns and emerging Money Laundering (ML), Terrorist Financing (TF), and Proliferation Financing (PF) risks, and supporting the strengthening of transaction monitoring, customer risk assessment, alert management, regulatory reporting, and management information.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform AML/CFT data analytics to identify unusual transaction patterns, customer behavior, risk trends, and emerging threats.
Analyze transaction-monitoring alerts, customer profiles, KYC/CDD information, and transactional behavior to identify potential ML/TF/PF risks.
Develop and maintain AML/CFT MIS, dashboards, risk indicators, and management reports.
Conduct trend and pattern analysis across transactions, customers, products, channels, geographies, and risk categories.
Analyze closed alerts to identify recurring patterns and opportunities for improving monitoring scenarios.
Support Customer Risk Rating (CRR) and risk segmentation through data-driven analysis.
Conduct analytical reviews of high-risk customers, unusual transactions, rapid movement of funds, structuring, layering, and other potentially suspicious activities.
Support STR analysis and identification of cases requiring escalation for further investigation.
Develop analytical models and indicators for identifying emerging AML/CFT risks.
Perform periodic analysis of branchless banking, digital channels, agent banking, and other ADC transactions.
Conduct data analysis for IRAR, Enterprise Risk Assessment, regulatory reviews, internal/external audits, and SBP examinations.
Reconcile AML/CFT data from different systems and identify data-quality issues, gaps, and inconsistencies.
Collaborate with IT, Data, and Operations teams to improve AML/CFT data availability, quality, and reporting.
