Verification of Benefits (Medical Billing) / AR Associate

Alara HealthCare is hiring for Verification of Benefits – Medical Billing and AR Associate positions at its Lahore office. These are full-time, onsite opportunities suited to candidates with experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, insurance verification, collections, or credentialing.

The selected candidates will support healthcare revenue-cycle operations, including insurance verification, accounts receivable management, payment follow-up, collections, and related billing activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify patient insurance benefits and eligibility.
• Review insurance coverage, benefits, deductibles, co-pays, and authorization requirements.
• Perform medical billing and accounts receivable-related activities.
• Follow up on outstanding claims and receivables.
• Coordinate with insurance companies regarding claim status and payment issues.
• Assist with collections and denial-related activities.
• Maintain accurate billing and insurance records.
• Identify discrepancies and resolve billing or payment-related issues.
• Maintain proper documentation and meet operational quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with internal teams and relevant external stakeholders.

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Prior experience in Medical Billing, Accounts Receivable (AR), Insurance Verification, Collections, or Credentialing is preferred.
• Good understanding of healthcare revenue-cycle processes.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively during night shifts.
• Relevant education or professional experience in healthcare billing/finance is an advantage.
